The movie Devara has proven to be a solid commercial hit in the Telugu states. However, only the makers know the extent of its success globally.
Given its success, many believe that Devara 2 should be launched promptly or at least after NTR completes one more project—similar to how Pushpa quickly moved forward with its sequel. But looking at NTR's packed lineup, the chances for Devara 2 seem slim.
NTR is currently committed to War 2 and has a film with Prashanth Neel in the pipeline.
