December BO: Fully Loaded With Promising Films

In any given year, the box office rarely receives such a splendid finishing touch. Typically, December marks the beginning of the queue for Sankranthi releases, effectively concluding the month with no major releases.

However, this year's December box office performance is exceptional, compensating for the lackluster showings earlier in the year.

This month, the film "Animal" has already graced theaters, and upcoming releases include movies featuring Nani and Nithin, along with the highly anticipated movie "Salaar," set to release in December.

Nani and Nithin, among mid-range heroes, hold substantial sway, and if their movies strike a chord, substantial collections are expected. Readmore!

Nani's film, "Hi Nanna," is scheduled for release on the 7th, followed by Nithin's "Extra Ordinary Man" with just a one-day gap. Both films have undergone pre-release business amounting to Rs 80 crores theatrically.

Trailers for both "Hi Nanna" and "Extra Ordinary Man" have received positive responses, raising expectations for both movies.

Given that they belong to different genres, there is no direct competition between the two. Therefore, if both films succeed, the box office revels with a substantial cash flow.

Following these two releases, "Salaar" is set to hit the screens. Anticipation is sky-high for this movie, with Prabhas playing the lead role and directed by Prashanth Neel, the director of KGF. The pre-release business for "Salaar" has already been completed within an impressive range.

As Nani mentioned, the Sankranthi season is evidently visible at the box office from December itself this year. If these movies prove to be hits, Tollywood is poised to make a significant impact with substantial collections this time around.
