Trade: Dear Comrade's Collections Come Crashing Down

Dear Comrade had a fairly decent first weekend at the box office, thanks to the craze of its lead man Vijay Deverakonda.

The film opened on a very good note on its first day and had witnessed a fall on its day 2 itself.

The word of mouth has been very discouraging, which is the main reason for the drop in collections.

Collections took a nosedive on Monday in Andhra Pradesh though its benefited by Bonalu holiday in Nizam to an extent.

Morning shows on Tuesday indicate that the film is heading for a failure in Nizam too. Vijay Deverakonda did his best to push the collections before leaving for a holiday.

Dear Comrade is the third film in a row for Deverakonda after Geetha Govindam that didn't live up to his potential.

NOTA and Taxiwala were ill-timed releases, but Dear Comrade is a film that was made after the blockbuster success of Geetha Govindam.

The young superstar is clearly losing track as he is clueless about what works and what doesn't.
