Megastar Chiranjeevi is into his mid sixties now and is not considering doing character roles as yet.
He is also aware of the fact that directors and writers are finding it tough to pen scripts that suit his age and image. Hence, Chiranjeevi is not keen on doing original movies at the moment.
Chiru is happy to pick remake scripts and hand them over to directors that he is comfortable to work with.
Acharya is an original script and it is helmed by one of the top directors in Tollywood now. Not everybody is as talented as Koratala Siva to come up with a script that fits a sixty-five-year-old Megastar in the lead role.
Chiranjeevi has reportedly rejected a couple of original scripts as he couldn’t visualize himself in. Meanwhile, Vinayak is working on the Lucifer remake and Meher Ramesh is making changes to Vedhalam.
Chiranjeevi is yet to take a call on which movie to do next. He is currently focusing on wrapping up Acharya that is aiming for Summer 2021 release.
