Minister for Marketing, Mopidevi Venkata Ramana, made scathing attack on TDP supremo and former chief minister Chandrababu Naidu and his son Lokesh.
The Minister took strong exceptions to the criticism of the TDP chief. He said Naidu was making personal attack on the YSR Congress MLAs, bringing down his political experience.
Mopidevi said that Naidu had lost mental balance after his lost power in the 2019 general elections.
The humiliating defeat in the elections is creating restlessness in Chandrababu Naidu, while the series of welfare initiatives of Jaganmohan Reddy government is causing him frustration, the Minister said.
Mopidevi, a close associate of Jaganmohan Reddy, took serious exception to the TDP chief’s criticism on the ruling party MLAs and the government every day.
“There is no subject in his criticism against the government. He is only indulging in cheap politics and making personal attack on the ruling party MLAs, thus lowering his own image,” the Minister said.
“Chandrababu Naidu is making lose talk, as if he is cultureless. Perhaps that is the reason why Lokesh is behaving like brainless,” Mopidevi said and sought to advise the TDP chief to maintain some quality in criticizing the government.
“Naidu’s criticism and his language should reflect his 40 years of public life and 15 years as Chief Minister. Unfortunately, that political experience and maturity is missing in him now,” the Minister said at a press conference in Velagapudi.
