Can Raju step into Narasapuram this time?

Rebel YSR Congress party MP Kanumuru Raghu Ramakrishna Raju, who has not been able to visit his own parliamentary constituency of Narasapuram ever since he picked up confrontation with party president and chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy, is planning to try his luck again.

After a gap of nearly two and a half years, Raju is getting ready to come to Narasapuram on the occasion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s proposed visit to Bhimavaram to take part in the 125th birth anniversary of freedom fighter Alluri Sitarama Raju on July 4.

Since he is a local MP, as per the protocol, he has to present at the event. And apparently, the PMO’s office has taken his name into consideration. So, that will give him added advantage.

But Raju is still apprehensive that the Jagan government might not leave him if he steps into the constituency. Readmore!

Obviously, he has to come to Bhimavaram a couple of days in advance to oversee the arrangements; and this time is enough for the Jagan government to arrest him in some case or the other.

That is why, Raju wrote to Union home ministry to provide him additional security to him, so that nobody can touch him.

If he gets the required security, he might come a couple of days in advance. Otherwise, he would have come along with the PM.
