Nandamuri Balakrishna, one of Tollywood's most controversial yet popular actors, is set to make headlines with the remuneration for his upcoming film.
Being the son of legendary actor NT Rama Rao, Balakrishna's illustrious career continues to thrive, and his latest paycheck is proof of his star power.
For his upcoming film, directed by Boyapati Srinu, the film's budget is reportedly a whopping â¹150 crore. Balakrishna is charging a massive 20% of this budget, amounting to â¹30 crore as his remuneration.
Previously, the actor charged â¹18 crore for Bhagavanth Kesari and â¹20 crore for NBK 109. With his â¹30 crore fee, Balakrishna now ranks among the top 10 highest-paid Telugu actors, surpassing Ravi Teja and Nani, who have a base price of â¹25 crore.
Balakrishna’s next project, Akhanda 2 (NBK 110), directed by Boyapati Srinu, is a sequel to his 2021 hit Akhanda, starring Jagapathi Babu and Pragya Jaiswal. The upcoming film is rumored to have a political twist in the storyline.
