Budget Shoots Up for Ram Charan's Movie

Producers of Ram Charan’s “Rangasthalam” are reportedly a worried lot as the production costs have gone out of control.

Mythri Movie Makers that produced “Srimanthudu” and “Janatha Garage” with perfect planning is now witnessing how budgets go out of hands for a movie when schedules go haywire.

When “Rangasthalam” with Ram Charan and director Sukumar was launched, it was planned for September/October release. Now, it has been pushed to summer of 2018.

Earlier they planned to shoot the entire movie on the banks of Godavari river. Then a massive village set has been erected in Hyderabad. Tons of sand has also been brought in for this set. Now it also requires visual effects. So, the costs have added up. Readmore!

It is being said that the film will cost much more than the initial estimates. The film is likely to become one of the costliest movies in Tollywood by the time it gets completed.

“Rangasthalam” is a period love story set in the year 1985. Ram Charan is playing a rustic guy with hearing problems. Samantha will be seen as a rich village girl in this love story.
