As expected, firebrand YSRC leader and Andhra Pradesh minister for civil supplies Kodali Venkateshwara Rao alias Nani shot back strongly at Jana Sena Party chief and power star Pawan Kalyan for describing him as a “Bodi Lingam” (which indirectly means an insignificant character).
“Pawan himself is a Bodi Lingam, not the YSRC MLAs. We are Shiva Lingams and that is why people of the state had given us such a massive mandate. Since Pawan is a Bodi Lingam, people of Gajuwaka and Bhimavaram gave him a crushing defeat in the last assembly elections,” Nani said, while speaking to media after the house sites distribution programme at Gudlavalleru.
The minister said the people won’t be carried away by actors suffering from yellow fever. He had read out scripts written by others by accepting packages from them.
“He has been rejected by the people. Yet, he is shamelessly delivering dialogues which only shows his gross ignorance,” Nani said.
The YSRC leader from Gudivada went on to say that it was unfortunate to have people like Pawan Kalyan in politics.
“Nobody can pluck even the hair of Jagan Mohan Reddy as long as he has the blessings of the people and the God, even if a dacoit like Chandrababu Naidu and Bodi Lingam like Pawan Kalyan try to take on him,” the minister asserted.
