Shilpa Shirodkar is a contestant on Bigg Boss 18. The actress, who is the sister of Namrata Shirodkar and sister-in-law of South star Mahesh Babu, recently shared their reactions to her participation in the reality show.
In a recent interview, Shilpa revealed that both Namrata and Mahesh are happy and proud of her decision to join Bigg Boss and are “very supportive” of her.
“Namrata and Mahesh are very happy for me. They are proud of me and know that whatever I do, I'll do it on my own. I know I'll make them proud. We are a close-knit family, and they have been very supportive of me,” Shilpa told The Times of India.
Earlier, Shilpa had shared her reasons for joining Bigg Boss 18, hosted by Salman Khan.
She explained, “Every time I watched the show, my daughter would tell me I should participate. My family is thrilled that I'm going into the house. I was looking for work, my daughter is now 20, and my husband travels a lot for his job. I wanted to do something for myself,” she said in an interview with Indianexpress.com.
She further added, “I was trying to reconnect with people and find work, but everyone kept telling me there wasn’t much available. I’m taking this opportunity because I’m an actor by profession, and this is my job. What better platform than Bigg Boss for me?”
