Be Thankful To Modi, Mr Naidu!

Telugu Desam Party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu does not have any gratitude towards Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who has been sanctioning huge funds to the state despite the TDP parting ways with the Bharatiya Janata Party.

“It is not Modi who betrayed the people of Andhra Pradesh. It is Naidu who has betrayed Modi who has done a lot to the state,” BJP MP from Narsapuram Gokaraju Ganga Raju said on Monday.

While describing Naidu as an efficient and able chief minister, Ganga Raju said the state had been witnessing a lot of development under Naidu’s leadership.

“But the credit should go not to Naidu, but to Modi. The residuary state of Andhra Pradesh, which started off on a deficit budget in 2014, has been able to witness so much development only because of Modi’s magnanimity,” Ganga Raju said. Readmore!

He said Naidu would not be able to become a national leader if he continued to attack the Prime Minister.

“If you think you are a taller leader than Modi, you should prove it through your governance and not by hurling abuses at the Prime Minister,” the MP said.

Ganga Raju felt that the state would have witnessed much more progress had the TDP continued its friendship with the BJP.

“But Naidu, for his political gains, sought to blame the BJP. Can he deny the role of the Centre in undertaking the welfare and developmental programmes in the state?” he asked.
