Bangaru Bullodu is based on true incident: Allari Naresh

Hero Allari Naresh has disclosed a big detail that his upcoming movie ‘Bangaru Bullodu’ is based on a true incident.

“This particular incident happened in Rajahmundry wherein a bank manager duped people by displacing original gold ornaments with that of duplicate ones. We took incident as our storyline and infused comedy in it. However there is no forced comedy in this film but will be a situational comedy,” said Allari Naresh.

About his role and title, Naresh added, “We Indians love yellow metal and many people put in bank lockers, thinking that it will be safe. This film will show how safe is gold in bank and its lockers. I play the role of a bank manager who deals with gold deposits.”

Adding Naresh said that he knew director Giri since long time. Readmore!

“Giri was the script writer for my film Bendu Appa Rao and we were in constant touch. When we zeroed upon the storyline, I told him to develop village comedy in this because in the recent times, village comedy genres are missing and most of them are city based entertainers,” said Naresh.

On the title, the ‘Allari’ hero said we initially considered at least 30 to 40 titles and one fine day director Giri came up with ‘Bangaru Bullodu’ and I was convinced with it.

On remixing hero Nandamuri Balakrishna’s song ‘Swathilo Muthyamantha’ Naresh replied that it was producer Anil Sunkara’s thought.

‘Bangaru Bullodu’ is releasing this Friday on January 23rd.
