Bandi Sanjay still 'blue-eyed boy' of Modi and Shah!

BJP Karimnagar Lok Sabha member Bandi Sanjay Kumar might have been removed unceremoniously from the BJP Telangana president post recently, but the latest developments in BJP prove that he continues to be the 'most preferred leader' in the BJP Telangana unit for Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah.

When the BJP national leadership released the list of speakers who will take part in the debate on the No Confidence Motion moved by the opposition alliance INDIA against the Narendra Modi-led BJP government in Lok Sabha on Tuesday, only Bandi Sanjay's name figured from Telangana.

In fact, only two leaders from South India got the chance to speak in Lok Sabha to counter INDIA. They are Bandi Sanjay and Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, who represents Rajya Sabha from Karnataka.

BJP has four Lok Sabha members in Telangana, namely Bandi Sanjay, G Kishan Reddy, D Aravind, and Soyam Bapu Rao. Readmore!

However, the BJP national leadership did not consider BJP Telangana president G. Kishan Reddy, who is also a Union Minister, to speak in Lok Sabha on the no-confidence motion.

On August 4, the BJP national leadership elevated Bandi Sanjay as National General Secretary of BJP. Within a week, he was named in the list of speakers in Lok Sabha who will debate on the no-confidence motion.

The BJP national leadership has sent a clear signal that Bandi Sanjay remains the most preferred leader for BJP from Telangana, which has sent shockwaves among the detractors and critics of Bandi Sanjay in the BJP Telangana unit.
