Nandamuri Balakrishna appears to be in a remarkable phase of his life and career.
With his brother-in-law as Chief Minister, a son-in-law as a Minister, another son-in-law as an MP, and successful entrepreneurial daughters,
Balakrishna is not only an MLA but also the chairman of a Basavatarakam Indo-American Cancer Hospital. He commands an impressive remuneration of 30 crores per film, even at this stage in his career.
His film career has reached new heights, with over a hundred films to his credit. However, his success was inconsistent for some time, particularly before and shortly after 2010.
After his hit film Simha in 2010, he struggled until Legend in 2014, followed by another lull until Akhanda in 2021.
Despite collaborations with prominent directors like Krish and veteran KS Ravikumar, success was elusive until Boyapati delivered a massive hit with Akhanda.
This marked a turning point for Balakrishna, with his remuneration rising from around Rs 8 crores to Rs 30 crores after Akhanda.
Now, he selectively signs projects based on story and direction, with his second daughter managing much of his work. Currently, he is filming with Bobby and preparing to launch his son Mokshagna, with Prashanth Varma directing.
Balakrishna's talk show Unstoppable is also a hit, and there are reports of a Padma Bhushan nomination and plans for a new studio in Telangana, marking the pinnacle of his life and career.
