Avinash Gets Relief From TS High Court

Kadapa MP Y S Avinash Reddy received some relief from the vacation bench of the Telangana High Court on Saturday.

The court instructed the CBI not to arrest Avinash Reddy until May 31, when the court will deliver its judgment.

The Vacation Bench listened to the arguments presented by the counsel for the CBI, who raised concerns about Avinash Reddy's lack of cooperation with the investigation.

The counsel further informed the court that Avinash Reddy had been evading questioning and avoiding appearing before the CBI on various pretexts. Readmore!

The counsel also stated that the murder was a result of political rivalry between Vivekananda Reddy and Avinash Reddy. Vivekananda Reddy opposed Avinash Reddy's candidacy for the Kadapa Lok Sabha constituency.

Additionally, the counsel informed the court that Avinash Reddy had planned the murder to gain an advantage over Vivekananda Reddy. Gangi Reddy was allegedly used by Avinash Reddy to carry out the murder as Gangi Reddy was opposed to Vivekananda Reddy.

The CBI counsel further mentioned that Avinash Reddy's father, Bhaskara Reddy, and another accused individual, Uday Kumar Reddy, also did not cooperate with the CBI.

After hearing the arguments, the court instructed the CBI not to arrest Avinash Reddy until May 31.
