Are Amaravati farmers satisfied with Jagan's plan?

A few of the Amaravati farmers, nearly twenty, have met two ministers from Jaganmohan Reddy cabinet the other day in Amaravati.

The select farmers volunteered to meet the ministers directly and have successfully held initial talks with them to know what the government is thinking about Amaravati, the farmers.

The farmers have met Ministers Kodali Nani and later Botsa Satyanarayana in Velagapudi. They first met Kodali Nani, who belonged to the same community and has strong roots with them.

They had initial talks with the Minister on the government’s plans, rather chief minister’s plans for Amaravati and the farmers. Readmore!

Later, they met Botsa Satyanarayana and had a long chat with him. Whether it was official or unofficial, the meeting had sent strong and positive signals among the farmers of Aamravati villages on Sunday.

There were not many farmers and their families who joined the protest on Sunday, which shows that they were convinced of what was told to them by the two ministers. They were assured of their share of development in Amaravati.

The sources say that Jagan Mohan Reddy’s intensions were clearly conveyed to the farmers who went back happily and did not return to the protest camps on Sunday. The message is being spread across the 29 villages so fast, after these farmers returned home.

What was the message or assurance given to them is not known yet, but those farmers who met the two Ministers on Saturday, have not joined the protest on Sunday.

That shows the Amaravati movement is set to end, even as the TDP leaders keep begging and crying on the street.
