Apollo Hospitals has expanded its healthcare network with the inauguration of its 76th hospital in India, marking a major milestone in the organization’s journey of delivering advanced medical care across the country.
The newly launched 400-bed hospital, located in Hyderabad’s Financial District, is Apollo’s fifth facility in Telangana and comes after 39 years of service in the state.
The state-of-the-art smart hospital was inaugurated by Revanth Reddy in the presence of Founder Chairman Dr. Prathap C. Reddy, Executive Vice Chairperson Shobana Kamineni, and Joint Managing Director Dr. Sangeeta Reddy.
Built as a digitally integrated, 10-storey healthcare facility, the hospital combines advanced multi-speciality treatment, preventive healthcare programs, and technology-driven patient care systems.
The institution aims to enhance emergency response, improve accessibility, and reduce patient wait times through seamless digital integration.
Speaking at the launch, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy said Hyderabad has emerged as a major hub for medical tourism, with patients from across the world visiting the city for healthcare.
He emphasized the need for improved international air connectivity, especially from Middle Eastern countries, and stated that he had urged the Civil Aviation Minister to enhance direct flight connectivity to Hyderabad.
Praising Apollo Hospitals, the Chief Minister described the institution as a role model for the country. He appreciated Founder Chairman Dr. Prathap C. Reddy for building a healthcare ecosystem that delivers quality treatment to common people at affordable costs.
Dr. Prathap C. Reddy also announced that Apollo Hospitals will conduct 10,000 free health screening check-ups every Sunday for residents of Nanakramguda as part of its commitment to preventive healthcare and community wellness.
Dr. Sangeeta Reddy highlighted Apollo’s legacy of innovation in Telangana, noting that the hospital represents the future of healthcare with AI-driven technologies, modern surgical systems, and patient-centric infrastructure.
Adding a personal perspective, Upasana Kamineni Konidela shared her gratitude towards Apollo Hospitals and spoke about balancing motherhood and professional responsibilities with the support of family and healthcare institutions.
She also mentioned that her aunt, Dr. Sangeeta Reddy, has been her mentor in carrying forward the Apollo legacy.
The launch reinforces Apollo’s philosophy of “The Hospital of Gratitude,” celebrating the trust and support extended by patients and communities over the last four decades.
