Another MP to turn rebel for YSRC?

The ruling YSR Congress party in Andhra Pradesh, which has already been facing a lot of nuisance from rebel party MP from Narasapuram Kanumuru Raghu Ramakrishna Raju for the last two years, is said to be a facing a silent revolt from yet another Lok Sabha member.

According to reports in a section of media, YSRC MP from Narasaraopet Lavu Krishna Devarayalu has been keeping away from the party activities of late and has gone silent. He is not attending any of the party programmes in his constituency.

Very recently, Krishna Devarayalu was conspicuous by his absence at the Samajika Nyaya Bheri bus yatra of the state ministers and he did not even attend their public meeting at his own constituency of Narsaraopet.

Apparently, the MP has been upset with the party high command for not reining in the MLAs falling under parliamentary constituency, who he feels, have been caring a damn for him. Readmore!

“He brought to the notice of party president and chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy several times about the highhanded behaviour of the MLAs, particularly newly-inducted minister Vidadala Rajini, who represents Chilakaluripet constituency and Bolla Brahma Naidu of Vinukonda,” sources close to him said.

The two leaders are said to be angry with him for his proximity to their rivals in their respective constituency – Marri Rajasekhar in Chilakaluripet and Makkena Mallikarjuna Rao of Vinukonda. This resulted in differences between the MLAs and the MP.

Though Krishna Devarayalu enjoys a good name because of his non-controversial nature, his differences with the local leaders distanced him from the party.

One won’t be surprised, if the MP jumps the fence before the next Lok Sabha elections, say sources.
