Over the past few days, strong buzz in Film Nagar suggested that the shooting of "Peddi" is facing multiple delays, raising doubts about its release date.
The film was initially slated to hit theaters on March 27, but due to production delays, the makers postponed it to April 30.
Recent rumors further claimed that meeting the revised April 30 deadline could be challenging for director Buchi Babu Sana, and that another postponement might be on the cards.
However, putting an end to the speculation, the film’s team has confirmed that the second single will be released in the first week of March.
The first single, "Chikiri Chikiri", went viral and clocked massive YouTube impressions.
The upcoming second single, composed by A. R. Rahman, is expected to further boost the film’s buzz.
With promotions continuing as planned, the team appears confident about the April 30 release.
"Peddi" stars Ram Charan in the role of a sportsman, while Janhvi Kapoor plays his romantic interest. The film also features Jagapathi Babu, Shiva Rajkumar, and Divyendu Sharma in key roles.
Produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru, the film’s OTT deal has already been finalized.
