Allu Arjun is recalibrating his upcoming projects as the schedule for his current film Raaka, directed by Atlee, undergoes a significant extension.
Initially planned for completion by October 2026, the shooting of Raaka is now expected to continue until April 2027. With the timeline pushed forward, the makers are yet to finalize a release date for the film.
Amid this delay, Allu Arjun has reportedly allocated additional time to his next collaboration with Lokesh Kanagaraj.
The actor has asked the director to focus extensively on script development and pre-production until December 2026, ensuring a solid foundation before filming begins in early 2027.
Lokesh Kanagaraj, known for delivering major hits, faced mixed reactions with his recent film Coolie, starring Rajinikanth.
While the film performed strongly at the box office, grossing close to â¹600 crore worldwide, it received a divided response from audiences.
In light of this, Allu Arjun is said to have encouraged Lokesh to take a more relaxed approach, prioritizing a well-crafted script over rushing into production.
The move reflects a strategic shift toward quality and long-term impact for their upcoming project.
