All set for Jagan's London tour next week

YSR Congress party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy, along with his wife Bharati Reddy, would be going on a week-long tour to London, starting September 2.

Even as his application is pending in the Special Court for Central Bureau of Investigation cases in Hyderabad seeking permission from the court for the travel abroad, Jagan has made arrangements for his London tour. The court is expected to give its judgement on Wednesday.

According to party sources, Jagan would be leaving for Idupulapaya in Kadapa district on September 2 morning to pay homage to his father late Y S Rajasekhar Reddy on his death anniversary.

From there, he would reach Hyderabad to fly to London along with his family. He would be spending time with his daughter in London for a week before returning to Amaravati on September 8, sources said. Readmore!

The court sought a counter from the CBI seeking to know whether it has any objection to Jagan’s petition. Depending on the CBI’s response, the court will decide on giving permission to Jagan on Wednesday.

Last year, too, Jagan had been to London, on his way to Davos to take part in the World Economic Forum summit.

The opposition Telugu Desam Party made a hue and cry then, stating that he had clubbed his personal trip to the official trip at the expense of public exchequer.
