AJ gives distorts Sai Reddy meeting with PMO!

YSR Congress party general secretary and Rajya Sabha member V Vijay Sai Reddy’s comments that all the decisions taken by party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy had the blessings and support of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP national president Amit Shah gave much needed fodder to the yellow media.

Especially Andhra Jyothy has been raising a hue and cry over Sai Reddy’s comments.

It even conducted a debate in the channel wondering how he could make such comments at a time when the Centre was reacting strongly to Jagan’s decisions on review of power purchase agreements and cancellation of Polavaram project tenders.

It even telecast interviews with BJP leaders Sujana Chowdary and Kanna Lakshminarayana, who condemned Sai Reddy’s claims. Readmore!

On Friday, Sai Reddy, who also happens to be AP government’s special representative in New Delhi, along with Ajeya Kallam, principal advisor to the chief minister and other officials went to Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) for a meeting to discuss the state’s pending issues.

They had a meeting with Nripendra Mishra, Principal Secretary to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other officials to discuss the files pending with the Centre, including release of funds due to various projects in the state.

But, Andhra Jyothy sought to project that the PMO called Sai Reddy and others to reprimand him for dragging the PM and Amit Shah into his controversial comments. It went to the extent of saying that the PMO officials expressed their anger with Sai Reddy and sought an explanation from him.

One wonders how only Andhra Jyothy was able to know what transpired between four walls of the PMO. But the intentions are obvious. It wants to project the YSRC government in AP in bad light at the national level!
