Allu Arjun may soon use Mumbai as his primary work base, as he juggles multiple big-ticket projects, including Raaka and upcoming collaborations with Atlee, Lokesh Kanagaraj, and possibly Prashanth Neel.
Ever since Raaka went on floors in June 2025, Allu Arjun has been frequently travelling to Mumbai. Now, industry buzz suggests that while he will continue to reside in Hyderabad, Mumbai could become his operational base for the next few years.
Sources indicate that the move is driven by his expanding pan-India lineup. After Raaka, the actor is expected to work on a project with Lokesh Kanagaraj, followed by another large-scale film that may be directed by Prashanth Neel. Parts of these films are likely to be shot in Mumbai as well as in international locations.
The shift is said to be purely strategic. With multiple big projects involving top directors, Mumbai offers easier coordination and planning. However, Allu Arjun is expected to split his time between Hyderabad and Mumbai, without fully relocating.
Earlier reports had hinted at a potential collaboration between Allu Arjun and Prashanth Neel for a massive action film, tentatively titled Ravanam. While both are currently busy with their respective commitments, the project remains a possibility for the future.
Overall, the move reflects Allu Arjun’s push to expand his presence at the national level while balancing his base in the South.
