Prabhas' highly anticipated film, ‘Adipurush,’ is scheduled for release on June 16, generating tremendous excitement among audiences.
Notably, actors and individuals are stepping forward to support the film by funding movie tickets for the underprivileged. The film's grandeur has led to an immense buzz surrounding its release.
In a strategic move to capitalize on this buzz, producer Vamsi Krishna Reddy reportedly met with Andhra Pradesh CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, seeking a revision in ticket prices. However, the makers are carefully calibrating the price adjustments to strike a balance between profitability and fairness.
In this calculated approach, the producers have requested a hike of more than Rs 50 for both multiplexes and single screens. Conversely, in Telangana, they have requested a Rs 50 increase exclusively for single screens, with no proposed hike for multiplexes.
With hopes of securing the desired price adjustments, the producers eagerly await the government's announcement on the matter.
If these newly structured ticket prices are implemented, ‘Adipurush’ is expected to make it to the list of Top 10 highest-opening films of the year. The film is poised to break numerous box office records among this year's releases.
