With only a few hours remaining until the release of "Adipurush," the first photo of the seat dedicated to Lord Hanuman has surfaced online.
In a picture from Baroda, a theater owner has selected a seat in one of the rows of the screen that will be showing "Adipurush" and decorated it in honor of Lord Hanuman.
As previously announced, theater owners will be reserving one seat for Lord Hanuman as a mark of respect in every screen where Prabhas and Kriti Sanon's "Adipurush" will be screened.
In the photo from the Baroda theater, a framed picture of Lord Hanuman with Lord Ram and Sita can be seen placed on the seat, along with a garland.
The seat is adorned with a few flower petals, and a saffron shawl is draped over it. The photo has already gone viral after being shared on the internet.
The decision to reserve a seat for Hanuman came at the request of "Adipurush" director Om Raut.
During a trailer event for the film in Tirupati, Raut asked the film's producers to reserve an empty seat in every theater where the film is screened as a gesture of honor to Lord Hanuman.
"This act symbolizes the reverence and acknowledgment of Lord Hanuman's spiritual presence during the showcasing of the film 'Adipurush,'" he stated.
Following the request and the announcement that a seat would be reserved in Lord Hanuman's honor, there were reports suggesting that the price of the reserved seat would be higher than regular seats.
However, the movie's production company, T-Series, took to Twitter on Monday to refute these claims.
"There are misleading reports circulating in the media regarding #Adipurush ticket pricing. We want to clarify that there will be no differences in rates for seats next to the one reserved for Hanuman Ji! Don't fall for false information! Jai Shri Ram! ðð¹," they tweeted.
