"Adipurush" is an upcoming Indian film that has been the subject of criticism for its visual effects (VFX) ever since its teaser was released.
The film is directed by Om Raut and stars Prabhas, Saif Ali Khan, and Kriti Sanon in the lead roles. The film is an adaptation of the Hindu epic Ramayana and is set to release in multiple languages.
Ashish Mhatre, the editor of the film, has now spoken up about the criticism that the film has been receiving.
He has revealed that the team has not made any alterations to the film after it received criticism for its VFX.
According to Mhatre, the team is confident that they have not made any mistakes in the first place that need rectification.
In his words Mhatre said- "We are following the same way from where we started the film because we have not made any mistake in the first place, that needs rectification".
This is really a shocking statement. If nothing is changed in spite of heavy criticism for the trailer, it remains to be seen how audiences will respond to the film when it is released.
However, with Mhatre's words it is clear that the team behind "Adipurush" is confident in delivering their original vision for the film, despite the criticism they have received.
