Prithviraj Sukumaran, earning accolades for his performance in the survival drama film ‘Aadujeevitham - The Goat Life’, underwent an intense physical transformation.
Adapted from the novel 'Aadujeevitham', a renowned bestseller in Malayalam literature translated into 12 languages, the movie follows the true story of Najeeb, a young man migrating from Kerala to seek fortune abroad, only to be enslaved as a goatherd in Saudi Arabia.
Cinematographer Sunil KS recently shed light on Prithviraj's nude scene preparation for the film, revealing the actor's disciplined regimen.
“For the nude scene, Prithviraj fasted for three days, abstaining even from water on the last day. Before the shoot, he consumed 30ML of Vodka to dehydrate further. He had to be carried to the location in a chair. We had to lift him from the chair before the shot.”
Produced by Visual Romance and directed by National Award Winner Blessy, ‘Aadujeevitham’ also stars Hollywood actor Jimmy Jean-Louis, Amala Paul, Indian actor KR Gokul, and renowned Arab actors Talib al Balushi and RikAby in significant roles.
The film hit theaters on March 28.
Additionally, Sukumaran will feature in the action thriller 'Bade Miyan Chote Miyan' alongside Tiger Shroff, Akshay Kumar, and Sonakshi Sinha.
Portraying a villainous role, Prithviraj's character seizes a potent weapon, prompting Akshay and Tiger to retrieve it safely.
Produced by Pooja Entertainment and AAZ Films, it's set to release on April 10, 2024, coinciding with Eid, facing off against Ajay Devgn's 'Maidaan'.
