ABN RK's New Comedy Of Errors

ABN Radhakrishna has once again presented a rather peculiar perspective in his column, "Edi Nyayam."

In this latest piece, he suggests that the Nara-Nandamuri family has held power for a staggering 40 years, without any allegations of corruption or complaints against them. This assertion provides a humorous highlight for the year, but it is essential to clarify a few inaccuracies.

First and foremost, over the last 40 years of the Telugu Desam Party's existence, the Nandamuri-Nara family has been in power for only 20 years, not the claimed 40 years.

Though NTR was the initial face of the party, the one and only dominant figure within the TDP has been Nara Chandrababu Naidu, who wielded immense authority, effectively overshadowing the Nandamuri family. Readmore!

History suggests that the Nandamuris either remained passive observers or were subordinates to Nara Chandrababu Naidu.

Additionally, it is essential to acknowledge that during Chandrababu Naidu's tenure, numerous corruption allegations were levied against him.

He managed to secure stays or dismissals for many of these cases, including the infamous Eluru Scam, and the washing machines and cell phones scam as alleged by Vundavalli Arun Kumar before the 2019 general elections, and allegations by Prime Minister Narendra Modi that Naidu mishandled Polavaram funds.

Many other accusations and complaints against Chandrababu Naidu were seemingly sidelined through legal means in questionable ways.

It is worth contemplating why, when a single complaint letter could land Jagan Mohan Reddy in jail for 16 months, why not CBN who has been facing numerous allegations supported by substantial evidences?

Furthermore, the TDP has raised concerns that Jagan Mohan Reddy is manipulating the system to imprison Chandrababu Naidu. This prompts the question of whether the system was similarly manipulated during Naidu's rule.

TDP critics argue that Avinash Reddy has not been arrested in Viveka's murder case, suggesting that the system is under Jagan's control. However, it is worth noting that around 10 individuals have been arrested in the Viveka's murder and have been in jail over the last six months. If Jagan truly had the power to manipulate the system, could he not secure their release?

In the case of Nandamuri Balakrishna's infamous gun-shooting incident in 2005, he was not arrested, which the TDP finds fair. However, they perceive a double standard when it comes to individuals associated with the YCP.

In a separate segment within the same column, RK pointed out that Jagan Mohan Reddy has been on bail for a decade, yet none of his cases have reached a conclusion, raising concerns about the efficacy of the legal system. In light of this, it's worth noting that Vundavalli has been uncovering the Margadarsi scandal for over 17 years. One might question why the legal system has not taken action against Ramoji during all these years.

Does ABN RK not harbor any suspicions about the legal system in relation to Ramoji Rao's matter?

ABN Radhakrishna and certain ardent TDP supporters have adopted an extreme, one-sided perspective that filters their perception of reality through a yellow-tinted lens.
