'30-years industry' Prithvi praises Pawan!

After maintaining low profile following “sex-tape” controversy, senior actor and former Sri Venkateshwara Bhakthi Channel chairman Prithvi Raj has suddenly surfaced in the media, taking a U-turn on his political stand.

In an interview to a media house, Prithvi showered praises on power star and Jana Sena Party chief Pawan Kalyan, whom he had attacked with pungent words in the past. Not just Pawan, he was all praise for the entire mega family.

What is more interesting is that Prithvi, who had been general secretary of YSR Congress party for quite some time, made a scathing attack on his own party leaders, which he alleged had used him and dumped him later.

“I came into politics because of my stature in film industry. The YSRC accepted my entry only because of my popularity. I have a lot of respect and affection for Jagan Mohan Reddy. But there are certain leaders in the party who are jealous of me. Who are these people? I don’t have to prostrate before them,” he said. Readmore!

Prithvi alleged that not a single YSRC leader came to see him, when he suffered from Covid-19 and was battling for life in hospital.

“This is atrocious. How can they use me during the elections and dump me after their purpose is served?” he asked.

Prithvi said he had to criticise Pawan Kalyan only because he was YSRC general secretary but not with any ill-intention.

“In politics, everybody has a kind of itch. I had itch in my mouth and so, I had to criticise Pawan,” he explained.

He said he was grateful for Pawan Kalyan and Chiranjeevi for giving me a chance in the films, though Naga Babu was not in talking terms with him.

“I am nothing before the mega family either in film industry or politics or wealth. If I say something, it is like a dwarf saying something before Lord Hanuman,” Pruthvi said.

One fails to understand what Pruthvi is up to. But one thing is certain; that his days in YSRC are numbered!
