YSRC Cries Foul Over Deletion Of Voters!

Before the recent assembly elections in Telangana, the Congress party made several complaints over the deletion of genuine voters in the state from the electoral list to help the ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi.

Now, the opposition YSR Congress party in Andhra Pradesh is making a similar allegation against the ruling Telugu Desam Party.

YSRC leader and former minister Anam Ramnarayan Reddy said Naidu government has been resorting to deletion of names from the voters’ list, which he said was a clear indication of accepting its failure.

Anam said several instances of deletion of genuine voters would be brought to the notice of the Election Commission. Readmore!

The TDP government has been deleting the names of YSRCP sympathisers from the voters list as the ruling Party is convinced about its imminent defeat in the ensuing elections, he alleged.

“The TDP government has been deleting from 20, 000 votes and upwards from each constituency on some pretext or the other and most of the names belong to YSRCP sympathizers. The links are going from state government offices to party office which is highly objectionable,” he said.

As TDP president and chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu has been raising doubts about the EVMs and demanding to revert to old system of ballot papers, it clearly shows how scared the party was, he said.

“Naidu has amassed huge wealth through corruption and has proved beyond doubt as to how it has distributed money like water in the Nandyal bypoll and he has parked enough money to fund the ensuing elections but our leader has the people backing him which will be seen in the ensuing elections,” he said.
