YS Jagan's Boons To Telugu Film Industry

A delegation consisting of senior producers, heroes, and directors from the Telugu film industry has called on AP CM YS Jaganmohan Reddy today. 

The team members had a lengthy discussion with Jaganmohan Reddy regarding the development of the film industry.  

The Tollywood team reportedly discussed on various issues ranging from the present issues due to lockdown to the development of infrastructure for the film industry in Tollywood as per the inside sources. 

They have taken up the issue of the losses incurred by the theaters in the last three months and requested the government to waive off electricity bills.  Readmore!

They have also requested Jagan to allow the filmmakers to fix the ticket prices based on the film budgets when the recovery target is high. 

The Tollywood elders also requested the AP CM continue the Nandi Awards every year to encourage actors, technicians, and all the talented persons from the 24 crafts.

They have also requested the government support to create the required infrastructure for the film industry in Vizag. 

They have requested the necessary permissions to establish studios and other infrastructure like recording theaters, the establishment of film institute, etc.

Jaganmohan Reddy said to have responded positively towards the requests made by the Tollywood delegation and he offered his full support to the film industry. He reportedly asked the concerned officials to look into the matter to do the needful. 

The Tollywood biggies have earlier met Telangana CM KCR in Hyderabad and put forth their requests for the development of the film industry. They have received support from KCR.

Now, the Telugu industry elders received several assurances from Jaganmohan Reddy and the team members are reportedly overjoyed with the support they received from the young and dynamic CM.
