BJP banged its triumph in Gujarat for the seventh time in Assembly Elections. Craze for Modi, weak opponents, visible development and many other aspects contributed to this victory.
Had BJP lost in this state, it would have been a big shock for Modi as it's his native state. However, BJP won in Gujarat.
There are reports that Jagan Mohan Reddy is going to implement the Gujarat kind of strategies during the AP Assembly elections.
About 48 sitting MLAs didn't get the tickets this time in Gujarat elections. Some ministers were also there in the list. Though a few contested as rebels, things didn't work. Many have obliged the decision of Modi and Shah.
But what is the situation in AP? Opposition has its existence unlike in Gujarat. YSRCP firmly believes that the voters are in its style. But the veracity in this belief will be known only after the elections.
Jagan Mohan Reddy has a way now. He should seriously work on the candidates.
Without any second thought he should avoid giving tickets to some unworthy sitting MLAs and Minister candidates as well.
Will it be possible to win with this change? Only time should tell.
