As the crucial polling for Andhra Pradesh Assembly elections on April 11 is just a week away, the 'yellow media' is learnt to have lined up 'fake surveys' predicting big victory for 'yellow party' TDP, to confuse Andhra Pradesh voters ahead of polling.
ABN-Andhra Jyothy group already published a 'fake survey' predicting landslide victory for TDP in Assembly and Lok Sabha polls.
ABN-Andhra Jyothy group 'shamelessly' attributed the fake survey to prominent survey group "Lokniti-CSDS" without checking the facts.
The fake survey predicted 126 to 135 Assembly seats and 18 to 22 Lok Sabha seats for TDP. It predicted only 45-50 Assembly seats and 3 to 5 LS seats for YSRCP.
This 'fake survey' was published on the main page of Andhra Jyothy newspaper and it was telecasted all through the day on ABN news channel.
The "Lokniti-CSDS" immediately sprung into action and threatened to issue legal notice and sue ABN group owner Radhakrishna for publishing and telecasting 'fake survey' and attributing the fake survey to "Lokniti-CSDS".
The "Lokniti-CSDS" strongly condemned doing any survey in AP and termed it as 'fake and rubbish'.
ABN Radhakrishna who talks and preaches of 'media values' and 'moral values' all the time, shamelessly carried fake survey in his paper and channel to benefit TDP and Chandrababu Naidu.
He has put media's reputation and credibility at the feet of Naidu for the sake of earning few crores of rupees. Naidu reportedly paid over Rs 50 crore to Radhakrishna to publicise this fake survey.
It may be recalled that Eenadu and Andhra Jyothy carried fake surveys during recent Telangana Assembly elections predicting defeat for TRS and victory for TDP, Congress combine Mahakutami.
Though all these surveys were proved wrong, the yellow media failed to learn the lessons.
It is reliably learnt that the Yellow Media has lined up few more 'fake surveys' predicting victory for TDP in AP elections.
One wonder, when the yellow media will realise that people are not innocent like in 1980s and 1990s to believe whatever crap they publish.
In this era of social media boom, people are getting to know the truth within a span of few seconds.
