Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan is now the hot news in the Telugu States, at least in Andhra Pradesh.
BJP AP unit president Somu Veerraju had met Pawan Kalyan and extended the BJP’s support to the Jana Sena.
However, Pawan Kalyan did not choose to address a joint press conference along with the State BJP chief.
In less than 24 hours, TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu too paid a visit to Pawan Kalyan and extended TDP’s support to the Jana Sena.
This time, both Pawan Kalyan and Chandrababu Naidu came before the media and addressed a joint press conference.
The duo went one step ahead and announced that they would together fight against the ruling YSR Congress Party in the state ahead of the 2024 general elections.
They also made an appeal to all the opposition parties to join hands with them in the fight against the YSR Congress.
Hours after this meeting, there were some cracks in the AP BJP with Kanna Lakshminarayana expressing his disappointment over the BJP’s relations with the Jana Sena.
It is alleged that Kanna Lakshminarayana would leave BJP at any time. However, nothing was confirmed yet.
But these political developments have led to debate in the political circles on whether Pawan Kalyan would stay put with the BJP or would go back to the TDP fold.
Given the strong political interests of Pawan Kalyan, it is debated that Pawan Kalyan would go for alliance with the TDP and win a couple of Assembly seats for Jana Sena besides winning his own seat.
If this is going to happen, the ruling YSR Congress would have a cakewalk in the next election too as he would successfully expose the opposition parties working against him and turn the voters in his favour.
