Will 'Hanu-Man' Get Tax Waiver By Government?

It is known that Prashanth Varma, the director of the film "Hanu-Man," along with the lead actor Teja Sajja and the producer, went to meet Yogi Adityanath, the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh.

The idea of Prashanth Varma is to screen a show of the film 'Hanu-Man' for Narendra Modi.

As per the sources, the makers are also making an attempt to get tax exemption for this film. If that happens, the film may save not less than Rs 30 Cr without burdening on taxes. But will the central government give such a waiver?

Had it been a film made to uphold the pride of Indian culture, language, or scientific temperament in the most appealing manner, then the consideration may happen. But so far for 'Hanu-Man,' the chances of getting tax exemption look bleak if the efforts are true.

Critics argue that screening the film for Narendra Modi could prove challenging, especially considering the recent inauguration of the Ram Mandir. They believe Modi is likely preoccupied with various election-related activities rather than engaging in events centered around Ram and Hanuman anymore.
