During the release of power star Pawan Kalyan-starrer “Vakeel Saab,” there were reports that YSR Congress party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy was very much angry with the Jana Sena Party chief.
Perhaps that was one of the reasons why the Jagan government had not given permission to revise the ticket rates and run additional shows in the first of the release of Vakeel Saab.
There was also a talk that Jagan was not concerned at all with regard to ticket prices and additional shows and it had happened due to over-enthusiasm of a minister in Jagan’s cabinet.
It could also be due to dragging East Godavari district collector to the court over denying additional shows in the theatres.
Setting aside all these reports, it was learnt that Jagan was really angry with Pawan Kalyan over the film. There was also a reason for it. During the pre-release function of the film, Pawan Kalyan made certain political comments that irritated Jagan.
For example, the power star said he had no dairy business nor had he owned any cement industries to make money and all that he knew was acting. Such a comment would naturally hurt Jagan, according to sources in the YSRC.
As the president of Jana Sena Party, Pawan Kalyan could make any such comments in public. He can give political speeches on streets. But how can he deliver political dialogues in a cinema function? This would have an impact on the entire film industry.
According to latest reports, the film producers reportedly requested Pawan Kalyan to maintain restraint while speaking at film functions, at least till all his films on hand are released. Pawan, too, agreed for the same, lest it would land the producers in hot soup!
