Why didn't Pawan and Lokesh greet Kejriwal?

After recording a massive victory in the assembly elections in Delhi on Tuesday, Aam Admi Party president and chief minister Arvind Kejriwal was flooded with congratulatory messages from his well-wishers and also from his detractors.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union home minister Amit Shah and Bharatiya Janata Party national president J P Nadda were among those who quickly congratulated Arvind Kejriwal through their tweets.

Even YSR Congress party president Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy was the first chief minister to tweet a message, greeting Kejriwal.

Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu, Telangana chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and chief ministers of various states, besides presidents of various political parties, also sent their greetings to the AAP chief through various means: some tweeted and others called him directly to congratulate him. However, Jana Sena Party chief Pawan Kalyan did not even tweet a congratulatory message for Arvind Kejriwal.

Being the president of a political party, one would expect Pawan to show some courtesy to greet the chief minister of a state on his victory in the elections.

May be the Jana Sena chief thought any such congratulatory message to Delhi chief minister would send a wrong message to his new alliance partner BJP and it might strain their relations.

But when Modi, Shah and Nadda themselves could show the basic courtesy of greeting a newly-elected CM despite he being their rival, why couldn’t Pawan do that?

Another person who did not have any such courtesy was TDP general secretary Nara Lokesh.

This gentleman never loses any opportunity to post all silly messages in the social media to attack YSRC and competes with lesser mortals like Bonda Uma and Buddha Venkanna in tweeting on everything that comes to his mind.

But being the “national general secretary” of the TDP. Lokesh did not even bother to post a tweet congratulating Kejriwal.

May be he thought there is no need for him to react when his father Chandrababu Naidu tweeted, but one wonders how Lokesh could expect to succeed his father when he lacks even basic courtesies!
