Why Did Ambati Rayudu Quit YCP Within 10 Days?

Former Indian cricketer Ambati Rayudu has clarified the reason for his swift departure from the ruling YSRCP party in Andhra Pradesh, just ten days after joining.

Rayudu explained on social media that he will be participating in the ILT20 tournament in Dubai as part of the Mumbai Indians franchise, necessitating him to remain politically unaffiliated during his professional cricket engagements.

Despite being inducted into the YSRCP in the presence of Chief Minister Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, Deputy Chief Minister K. Narayana Swamy, and Rajampeta Lok Sabha member P. Mithun Reddy on December 28, Rayudu decided to step away from the party on January 6.

He expressed his intention to take a break from politics, with further decisions to be communicated in due course. Readmore!
