Why CBN Desperately Prays For BJP Alliance?

Chandrababu Naidu is attempting to ally with the BJP, which has only a marginal vote bank in Andhra Pradesh.

Even within the ranks of TDP there is discontent over Chandrababu's eagerness for reconciliation with the BJP, viewing it as lowering himself. Pawan Kalyan is making efforts to bring Babu closer to the BJP.

Today, Chandrababu Naidu and Pawan Kalyan are heading to Delhi to address the matter of alliance. But forging an alliance with the BJP would be a political setback for both parties.

The question arises- why is Chandrababu Naidu so determined to pursue this alliance? It is suggested that there are compelling reasons behind his actions. Readmore!

Reportedly Chandrababu Naidu's primary concern is protecting himself from Jagan rather than seeking power.

He believes that aligning with the BJP would provide a shield against Jagan's potential actions. This has sparked debate over whether Babu is eagerly seeking shelter under the BJP's shadow.

Chandrababu Naidu already faces a series of legal cases, having spent over 50 days in jail and currently out on bail.

Despite assertions from both Chandrababu and Pawan Kalyan that YS Jagan's influence is waning there remains a lingering fear and doubt. They fear that a resurgence of Jagan's power could pose a political threat to their existence.

With indications that the BJP may regain power at the Centre, it appears that Pawan and Chandrababu's strategy is to seek refuge under the BJP's umbrella.

Chandrababu's calculation seems to be that regardless of the state election outcome he can count on the support of the central government for his survival.

Otherwise, there is apprehension that he could face renewed legal troubles and potential imprisonment.

Many in AP are already resentful towards the BJP blaming them for injustices against the state.

This negativity could inevitably affect the TDP if it aligns with the BJP.

But still, it is noteworthy that Chandrababu is willing to pursue an alliance with the BJP for personal gain.

Previously, he pledged to depart from the NDA for the greater good and said that he would prevent Modi's re-election as Prime Minister.

It remains to be seen what moral justifications he will offer for sticking with the BJP this time.
