All these days, the YSR Congress party leaders have been alleging that the rebel party MP from Narasapuram Raghurama Krishnam Raju has been dancing to the tunes of Telugu Desam Party president and former Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu.
Though neither Naidu or Raju never condemned these allegations, they did not even come together on any platform. And there was no occasion for that. But it was an open secret that there is an undisclosed understanding between the two.
What Raju has been saying all these days before the media every day against the Jagan government is based on the information provided by the TDP. And it was promptly carried in a big way by the pro-TDP media like ABN-Andhra Jyothy and TV5.
However, on Friday, the nexus between the TDP and the rebel YSRC MP was openly exposed at the public meeting held by the Amaravati farmers at Tirupati.
The meeting was sponsored by the TDP and Raju flew down from New Delhi to Tirupati to exclusively attend the meeting.
According to sources, the TDP workers were among the Amaravati farmers who went to Tirupati airport to receive Raju and bring him to the public meeting venue.
On the stage, Raghurama Raju, on seeing Naidu on the dais, wished him with folded hands. Naidu could not control his excitement and hugged him. Both the leaders exchanged pleasantries and were seated side by side.
One can easily imagine what both Naidu and Raju might have talked to each other. It clearly shows that they have been working together secretly all these days and now, they have joined hands ooenly.
Much to the delight of Naidu and those who were on the dais, Raju declared that he had spoken to Union minister Amit Shah and that the latter had assured him about Amaravati.
“Don’t worry, Amaravati will remain the capital of AP. Please bear with these inconvenience for now,” he said.
