What did Lakshmi Parvathi speak to NTR 'Aatma'?

Nandamuri Lakshmi Parvathi, YSR Congress party leader and widow of Telugu Desam Party founder and legendary actor N T Rama Rao on Tuesday made a sensational revelation, while paying homage to her late husband on his 26th death anniversary at NTR ghat in Hyderabad.

Lakshmi Parvathi claimed that she had spoken to NTR’s Aatma (spirit) a few months after his death in January 1996.

“I am revealing this secret after nearly 26 years. It happened in Chennai, where actor couple Jeevita and Rajasekhar took me a few months after NTR’s death,” she said.

She recalled that Jeevitha and Rajasekhar made her speak with a girl. Readmore!

“As I was talking to her, NTR’s Aatma (spirit) entered the girl and started conversation with me. He shared a lot of things with me during the conversation,” she said.

Lakshmi Parvathi, however, did not disclose what had transpired between her and the “Aatma” of her late husband. She only wished that NTR’s Aatma would enter the heart of the chief ministers of Telugu states.

Interestingly, she did not even make a mention of this “Aatma” episode in her biography on NTR. Maybe, she would write a separate story on the talk between them at a later stage.

Reacting to the attacks on NTR’s statues in Andhra Pradesh, Lakshmi Parvathi said it was a big crime, whoever had done that. But she was all praise for YSRC president and chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy for taking prompt action on the incidents and getting the culprits arrested.

She advised the opposition parties not to politicise such vandalism but behave in a dignified manner.

“NTR spirit will always bless the people of the Telugu states,” she wished.
