MCA has really set the cash registers ringing and dominated the Christmas weekend by fair distance while Hello struggled to put up a significant show.
Middle Class Abbayi has been the crowd’s first choice among new releases. Popular star cast and a strategic release plan helped the film to dominate the scene.
Hello on the other side clearly lacked the mass appeal as Akhil is relatively new and brand Vikram Kumar doesn’t sell in B and C centers.
MCA had a fantastic first weekend and Hello had an ordinary outing so far.
MCA collected nearly Rs. 18 Crore share in its first four days whereas Hello three days share in Telugu states is below Rs. 8 crore.
