Watch: TDP Leaders Praising Pappu Scene

Ram Gopal Varma’s controversial movie “Kamma Rajyamlo Kadapa Reddlu” is scheduled for release this weekend but the movie needs clearance from Telangana High Court as a petition against the movie was filed.

RGV, however, is confident that the film would not face any hurdles from High Court since it is a fiction.

Interacting with media persons, RGV said he received calls from Telugu Desam party leaders to praise him for the ‘Pappu’ scene.

“They told me they laughed out loud with the Pappu song. No TDP leader objected. They praised me for filming it close to reality,” he said when asked about the controversial scene of ‘Pappu’. Readmore!

The Pappu scene and song which are seen as a satire on Chandrababu Naidu’s son Lokesh Naidu. Lokesh is often called as such.

Ram Gopal Varma said the story is written based on political developments that happened after May 22nd this year. For technical reasons, he is terming the movie as a ‘fictional story’. 

“I have stopped taking KA Paul seriously”, RGV snubbed the question when asked about the defamation case filed against him by the evangelist.
