Watch: 'Anupam Cried On Sets Almost Every Day'

Tollywood producer Abhishek Agarwal made his Bollywood debut with the critically acclaimed and commercial hit movie The Kashmir Files.

The film directed by Vivek Agnihotri has entered 100 Cr club and it is expected to reach 200 Cr as well.

The producer informs they did intense research, before starting the project.

“I and Vivek met many people across the glove. We have 4000 hours of testimonials. We traveled for 2 to 3 months in USA, Canada and South Africa to know what actually had happened. That was not an easy journey, because people used to cry while recalling the incidents.”

Abhishek says the film was made on a small budget and they didn’t spend much on publicity as well.

“A PIL filed against was dismissed just a day before the film’s release.”

As is known, Anupam Kher who played one of the lead roles, is also a Kashmir pundit.

“It was an emotional journey for all of us, particularly for Anupam Kher who used to cry every on sets.”

He further stated that all the artists and technicians didn’t work for the film for money.

Abhishek Agarwal concluded saying, they haven’t taken decision of making another part on this subject, as they are busy with Delhi Files now.
