Besides essaying the lead role in the nationalistic film Son Of India, Mohan Babu also pens screenplay.
The opening of the film to be directed by Diamond Ratnababu took place today at Mohan Babu’s residence in Hyderabad.
For the muhurtham shot, while Vishnu’s Manchu’s wife Viranica Manchu their kids Ayra, Avram switched on the camera, Manchu Lakshmi Prasanna and her daughter Vidya Nirvana Manchu together sounded the clap board. Vishnu Manchu directed the first shot on Mohan Babu.
Ariaana Manchu and Viviana Manchu handed over the script to the directional team. Son Of India’s regular shoot also began today.
Interesting update is Viranica Manchu takes up the job as Mohan Babu’s stylist.
The makers roped in Maestro Ilayaraja to render soundtracks as the film has significance for music. Sarvesh Murari will handle the cinematography.
The film’s first look poster was unveiled for Independence Day and the response for the same was great.
