Thalapathy Vijay recently landed in a huge controversy when his wife filed divorce from him.
Although she filed divorce in a family court in December, the papers were leaked last month, leading to uproar and denting his image of a family man a bit ahead of Tamilnadu assembly elections.
With ruling DMK and other parties likely to rake it up further, his well-wishers advised him to close the divorce matter amicably and put an end to the domestic problem. There is a buzz that Vijay might give Rs 250 crore alimony to his wife Sangeetha.
Besides alimony, he will also agree to take care of all the expenses of his two grown up children, son and daughter.
His son Jason Sanjay has become director and his first film starring Sundeep Kishan will release in theaters soon.
There are reports that already some well-wishers and close associates of Vijay began talking with his wife Sangeetha.
A formal agreement wll be reached shortly and the divorce matter will be settled.
