On the other hand, as many as 1,654 respondents, accounting for 18.84 per cent felt that the meeting was a big success, while 1,458 people (16.61 per cent) said that the meeting was far below the expectations.

Though the TRS claimed that more than 25 lakh people would turn up at the public meeting, it was around one-fourth of it at the end of the day.

Only 1,285 people accounting for 14.64 per cent of the respondents said the meeting was a big failure.

Obviously, they were of the view that the purpose of the meeting was not served even after spending over Rs 300 crore.
