After dodging for months, Venkatesh has finally given a go ahead to director Tharun Bhascker for his new film.
Tharun Bhascker has already finished the script and is set to commence the pre-production work for this.
Venkatesh will play a punter. Set in the backdrop of a Malakapet Race Club, the story deals with horse racing.
Venkatesh will also mouth dialogues with distinct Hyderabadi slang. Tharun Bhasker is known for such dialogue writing.
The ‘Pelli Choopulu’ director won critical acclaim for his maiden directorial ventute but he could not repeat the same magic with his second movie “Ee Nagariniki Emaindi”.
Venkatesh came forward to work with Tharun Bhascker seeing his work in “Pelli Choopulu,” but he took a lot of time to give his nod.
The film will be bankrolled by Suresh Babu. It is going to be a limited budget movie.
