Veerraju sees TDP shutting its shop shortly!

Bharatiya Janata Party in Andhra Pradesh might be indirectly helping its previous alliance partner Telugu Desam Party by lending support to the latter’s voice against the ruling YSR Congress party in Andhra Pradesh.

But its firebrand leader and MLC Somu Veerraju is hell bent on decimating the TDP in Andhra Pradesh completely, though his other party colleagues are indirectly backing TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu.

Veerraju, who triggered a lot of speculation a couple of days ago by having a closed door meeting with YSR Congress party president and chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy at Tadepalli, declared that he was confident of ensuring the complete wipe-out of the TDP from the Andhra political scenario.

“The TDP is going to lose its existence in the assembly as most of its MLAs are going to join the BJP shortly. They are all in touch with the BJP leadership,” Veerraju said.

He reminded that TDP MLA from Visakahaptnam and former minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao has already approached the Delhi bosses and is all set to join the BJP shortly.

“Subsequently, many other TDP MLAs will make a beeline to the BJP,” he said.

Veerraju said the people were vexed with the rule of TDP led by Chandrababu Naidu for five long years and had voted for the YSR Congress party.

“Under any circumstances, the people are not going to bring Babu back to power again,” he predicted.
