While Vivek would be contesting the Lok Sabha elections from Peddapalli parliamentary constituency which he represented in the past, his son Vamsi would be fielded from Chennur assembly constituency in the coming assembly elections.

The third list of the Congress will be released in a day or two.

Interestingly, it is learnt Vivek’s name figured in the BJP list to be released evening, as a candidate from Chennur. Now that he has quit the party, the BJP has to look for a new candidate.

Vivek’s brother and former minister G Vinod has already got the Congress ticket from Bellampalli assembly seat.
